Moped Lost Control

I represented the Claimant who lost control of his moped when a car driver pulled out from a side junction.

The car driver completed his manoeuvre and commenced driving along the main road when the Claimant lost control of his vehicle and fell from his moped, sustaining a modest injury which required no treatment.

The police were not called, no witnesses came forward and there was no available dash cam footage.

Thus the claim relied solely on the Claimant’s testimony. The Defendant denied liability throughout but in the end agreed to deal with the Claimant’s claim in full.

The claims settled for £2,300 and consisted of compensation for the injuries suffered.
