I represented my Client, a retired elderly lady, who suffered musculo-ligamentous injuries to her neck and left shoulder as a result of a stack of shopping baskets collapsed onto her whilst she was at the check-out.
The Claimant suffered an exacerbation of pre-existing pain in her neck and left shoulder. The pain was made much worse for a period of six months after the accident before returning to the pre-existing level.
The Defendant’s Insurers admitted fault for the accident following receipt of our witness evidence and settlement was agreed in the sum of £2,400.00.
