Claimant suffers burn on flight
The Claimant was travelling on a Royal Air Maroc flight from London to Marrakech when an air stewardess placed a cup of hot tea on the Claimant’s seat tray. As a result of the tray not being properly secured and level, the cup of hot tea slid down the tray towards the Claimant and onto her left hip/thigh area causing a burn which left a faint scar. The airline admitted fault and after some negotiation between the parties, a settlement was agreed.
