Unique App for Lawyers and Clients Praised at National Entrepreneur Awards

A unique mobile app that facilitates communication between lawyers and their clients, created by Aequitas Legal, fought off national competition to win the Best Use of New Media title at the National Entrepreneur Awards 2014.

We devised the inCase app to make it simpler for people to keep up to date with information about their legal claim, as well enabling more efficient communication between solicitors and clients.

Managing partner at Aequitas, Sucheet Amin, who invented and developed the technology, said: “I was genuinely blown away at winning. The other finalists were so strong and I was honoured to be amongst them. Walking away with the award demonstrates that inCase is delivering real cost-saving benefits to law firms and their clients.

Tim Savage, business growth advisor at the Entrepreneur’s Circle and chairman of the judges, said: “What made Sucheet’s entry stand out from the other finalists was his development of his app for such a traditional industry and his recognition that this could become an industry wide resource. He was a very worthy winner.”

Initially developed for internal use at Aequitas in 2012, the inCase app was redeveloped by Sucheet to be made available to the entire legal market, with many high-profile firms now adopting the technology. It offers full integration and includes aspects such as the “signature feature”, enabling signed documents to be sent to and from the app between law firms and their clients.
