Mr O came to us following a cycling accident in November 2010, when he was knocked off his bike by a driver who failed to check his door mirror and opened the door into his path. As a result he suffered a broken nose as well as other soft tissue injuries.
Our cycling specialist solicitors quickly obtained an admission of liability and payment for his bike. Initial medical evidence recommended a review by a psychologist, as Mr O had developed specific phobia to cycling. This was very distressing for Mr O as he did not drive and used his bike to get around.
To help, we were able to get him specialist rehabilitation treatment through our providers CBT treatment to help with the phobia and recovery.
